That isn't what God wants. Seeing your glory doesn't help anyone. Seeing God's glory is a life-and-death issue. When others see our good works, we want them to go away saying, 'Isn't God wonderful?' "
Pastor Chuck Smith
Tonight we had the memorial service for Pastor Chuck Smith at the Honda Center. It was a great tribute and celebration of Pastor Chuck and his life which was obedient and faithful to the calling the Lord had placed upon him. He was always so humble, with his radiant smile. When I think of the life and journey the Lord led Pastor Chuck on I do find myself saying "Isn't God wonderful?" with a smile on my face.
Grace and peace on your hearts tonight as we miss our Pastor and celebrate his heavenly homecoming.
